Once upon a time in America
We honored those in uniform
Paying tribute to these brave souls
By our leaders and by us – the norm
Armed Forces Day was established
In 1950, by then President Truman
A holiday for paying them due respect
Our nation’s thankfulness wouldn’t end
Back in those good old days of America
Parades and celebrations marked today
But like so many other wonderful things
Armed Forces Day, has fallen by the way
There won’t be massive national tributes today
Our leaders will take little notice of Honor Due
Most of us now don’t even remember this Holiday
What’s become of America – once so loyal and true
God Bless each and every soldier today
Those very valiant ones wearing a uniform
It’s time once more to elect leaders who care
Time again to make Honoring Them the Norm
The first Armed Forces Day was celebrated by massive parades, base open houses, gala receptions, and spectacular air shows all across America. In Washington D.C., 10,000 troops of all branches of the military marched in a wondrous parade viewed by thousands. In New York City, thousands and thousands of participants paid tribute to our military men and women at a massive air show.
In our harbors across the country were the famed battlewagons of World War II, the Missouri, the New Jersey, the North Carolina, and the Iowa, all open for public inspection, and all heavily viewed. Precision military flying teams dominated the American skies, and we all saluted them as they zoomed by.
All across this country, the American people joined together to honor our Armed Forces. And as we, the people, gathered to pay tribute to our brave soldiers on this their holiday; so too, did our country's many leaders, most of them having proudly served themselves.

NOW - WE SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!

NOW - THE SHEEP-LE MERELY WANDER ABOUT, SAYING - BAAA - BAAA - BAAA !
MAY GOD BLESS IMMENSELY ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED THIS NATION, ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILIES, FRIENDS, AND SUPPORTERS!
MAY SATAN TAKE THOSE WHO DON'T - AND LET THEM BURN IN HELL FOREVER! AMEN!
