“The Economy Is Not My Strongpoint.”

Presidential Candidate John McCain

For the past 25 years in the U.S. Senate

He’s been a proponent of De-Regulation

But on Monday, Wall Street began crashing

He had to come up with a Plan for the Nation

“I know!  I’ll create a new bureaucratic Commission,

That will get to the bottom of this Wall Street mess!

Than the American people will absolutely know,

That as their next President, I’ll be the very best!”

But by Tuesday morning, things were getting worse

So this Presidential Contender, had to have a better plan

“I Know!  I’ll create a brand new government bureaucracy,

And its brand new Oversight Capabilities, will be very Grand!”

But Alas, someone pointed out that he stood for ‘Less Government’

So, he quickly had to back-track, and come up with yet, another plan

And his extremely savvy political advisors, then quickly whisper in his ear

“Forget about a brand new government agency; just blame Obama, Man!”

So that’s what he did; and now, we tax-payers have to come to the rescue

After Bush, McCain, and their buddies have been preaching ‘Laissez- Faire’

It’s been an extremely tough week for Presidential Candidate John McCain

His very prophetic statement above, has become very obvious – everywhere

Our now horrendously faltering American financial institutions,

Whose extremely toxic assets have now brought our financial markets,

To the brink of catastrophe, under the ‘No Regulation Is Wonderful’ Bush/McCain philosophy, Will now be unloading their bad debt on our government, and in turn, on we, its taxpayers,

Under a Half-Trillion Dollar Bailout, now hastily being crafted by our government leaders.

And the CEOs of these now faltering institutions,

Will be very blissfully gliding off into the sunset,

With their multi-million dollar golden parachutes.

Do We Tax-Payers Really Want Yet Four More Years of This?

These Dreaded Wall Street Blues, Sure Don’t Give Me Any Bliss.
