Three Eds In A Tub

“Rub-a-Dub-Dub,

Three Boys in a Tub,

Who Do You Think They Be?

It’s Old Edvard, The Jersey Devil,

And Me, Momma, Your Little Pee Wee!”

Despite all of Mr. Fee’s best efforts,

Old Jersey refused to bathe at his Spa;

So what was a good son like me to do,

I had to photo shop this, and fax it to Ma.

And the sheer excitement in dear old mother’s voice,

When she immediately called me on the phone, in glee;

“Pee Wee, Honey, You Can’t Know How Happy I Am!

Please give my warmest regards to that Mr. Freaky Fee!”

I don’t have the heart to tell our dear mother the truth,

That my two brothers are now already bickering again;

And I surely can’t conjure up the courage that I’ll need,

To tell her that their nasty fighting ain’t never gonna end.

And I just know that it will break our dear old Mom’s heart,

When I tell her that Mr. Freaky Fee has already kicked us out;

And I’m gonna let old Edvard tell her, “No more money, Ma;"

A good son surely doesn’t want to make his dear old mother pout.

So I Did What I Always Do;

I Lied To Our Dear Old Mother:

“Rub-a-Dub-Dub,

Three Nice Boys in a Tub,

Who Do You Think They Be?

It’s Old Edvard, The Jersey Devil,

And Me, Momma, Your Little Pee Wee!

“Splish Splash, Momma,

All three of us took a bath,

Long about Halloween night!

And Wow! Rub-A-Dub-Dub, Momma,

Even that old Jersey Devil was in the tub,

Dear Mom, everything is gonna be alright!”

OMG, I cannot believe you lied to that poor little old woman...that is just despicable & reprehensible, I can't believe you did it...Hey, I already had a bath before leaving home, in the bogs of the barrens & I even used some soap I appropriated from a motel once about a hundred years back...I'm gonna tell Ma about your behavior, she deserves to know the truth about her little baby boy...ED/JD

Boys I wouldn't want to be in your shoes when Ma finds out the truth as soon as you get up wind of her she's surely going to know and I didn't really kick you out so much as asked you to dissappear and reappear somewhere else that my double barrel shotgun wasn't pointed your way.

You need tell them you pissed in the bathwater, all that coors you were drinking, I bet. I betcha you didn't tell your Momma that, no wonder Edvard is mad, you tells her just what she wants to hear eh

What a good son you are, I know mothers tell their children, tell me everything, but as time goes by we secretly want those lies. Love and hugs, Bonnie
