My brother posted a nice poem about me,

And I was going to be nicer to him, too;

But my dogs received this poem from Rufuz,

And they sure hate seeing any dog, so blue.

Christmas Dreamin

By Rufuz, The Dog

“Dearest Santa, as you probably know

We dogs are considering leaving Earth

We’re now dreamin of the Dog Galaxy

Where our Holidays had so much mirth

Here, I am stuck inside for winter

For some fresh air, I hope and pray

It’s startin to stink in here, already

Oh, how I yearn for a sweeter day

I'm dreamin of a Clean Christmas

Just like the ones that I used to know

Where my human smells ‘fresh’ again

And kids can’t sniff us through the snow

I'm dreamin of a Refreshing Christmas

With every foul odor, I’m forced to inhale

May your days be spic and span, and merry

May your human never get stagnant or stale

I'm dreamin of a Fresh Christmas

Just like the ones that I used to enjoy

Where the air is sweetly pine-scented

And I can frolic again, with canine joy

I'm dreamin of a Soap Sudsy Christmas

With every Christmas card that I send

May all of your days be sparkling clean

And may my winter nightmare finally end

Dearest Santa, I hope you get this letter,

I’ll be watching for you, on Christmas Eve;

And I hereby promise to reconsider leaving,

If you, dear old Santa, hear my fervent plea!”

To My Good Old Pal, Rufuz:

I’ve forwarded your heartfelt poem,

To my other good old pal, Santa Claus,

Asking him to be especially nice to you,

This coming Christmas Holiday, because:

If Ever a Dog was Man’s Best Friend,

It is You.

Great photo posted of Rufuz again and Santa. Give him a chew bone. There are some that cleans their teeth and give good breath. Meanwhile stay clean in health and your necessities are there for you to use. Enjoy the fresh salt air cause you are so fortunate as I said before to live near the ocean. Not all of us do but wish we could at that. Neat poetry here.

Now wait one darned second, I cleaned this camper just the other day, hey even my dishes got washed. (the pile was tilting over) Then, even though it wasn't time, I TOOK A SHOWER WITH REAL GOOD IRISH SPRING SOAP! Then I took Ruffie boy down to the shore yesterday to walk the beach and play and chase the seagulls...but I really do appreciate you sending Ruffie's letter to Santa on to him, as he has seemed a bit lathargic of late...Maybe Santa could also do something about his breath, its been gettin' rank of late...Thanks, ED

Your poem is cheerful and humorous and puts a smile upon my face--and a frown at the thought of all the "stinky smells". LOL
