They weren’t real nice to us,

Up There in Canada,

Or Anywhere Else,

In The Wild Wild West;

And We Three Brothers Ed

Were Just Tryin To Do Our Best

Mama, Mama, Mama,

If we ever get out of here,

All we three Ed brothers want,

Is a little respect, and a decent beer.

The rain, it exploded with a mighty crash

As we three Eds raced on through the wood

And the first Ed, he said to the second Ed there

“Old Brother Edvard, this really ain’t very good!”

Eds on the run, Eds on the run, Eds on the run

And those big Mounty Men and those Texas Rangers

They were now searching everywhere, and everyone

For the Eds on the run, Eds on the run, Eds on the run

And their tracking dog drew a disgusted sigh

When he had to sniff old Jersey Ed’s undies

And a reward was posted in village squares

For the Three Ed Brothers, in both countries

Eds on the run, Eds on the run, Eds on the run

.

And that old jailer man, Fiendish Mr. Felix

And his female accomplice, Gun Totin Rose

They were searching everywhere, and everyone

For Eds on the run, Eds on the run, Eds on the run

Well, the night was now falling all around us

As the Wild Wild West began to settle down

They were searching for us Eds, everywhere

But we three Ed Brothers, never will be found

Eds on the run, Eds on the run, Eds on the run

And that old Bird Whisperer, who held that grudge

Why, he’ll be a searchin for us up there, for evermore

For the Eds on the run, Eds on the run, Eds on the run

And gosh darn it, we three Brothers Ed were out of Coors

So We Now Headed Down To Old Mexico,

To Slurp Some Fine Mescal.
