What a joy it was
To find our Ed sis
For we Ed brothers
Such a time of bliss
We hadn’t seen Tiger Lily
In such a very long time
She welcomed us, anyway
Despite all of our Ed crimes
She fed us three Ed boys
She let us sleep in her barn
She washed all of our clothes
And our sox, she even darned
But gosh darn, it wasn’t real long at all
Before Jersey Ed fouled her new terlit
And just like dear old Momma at home
She yelled, “You Ed boys had better git!”
“Please don’t forsake us, Tiger Lily,
We’re gonna have a Big Showdown;
And we need to stay here at your place,
It’s the only Ed Brother Hide Out, around.”
“It is? Well then, I won’t forsake you, brothers,
But you must keep old Jersey Ed, out of my terlit;
And if you three old Ed brothers behave yerselves,
A new Ed sweater fer each of ya, I’m a gonna knit!”
