“One man’s trash,

Is another man’s treasure.”

Author Unknown

Our furry, little, Valentine

Sweet, loving, little, Valentine

You make us smile with our hearts

I found you scavenging in a trash bin

Behind a decrepit, abandoned factory

Discarded, by an extremely cold heart

Yet, you’re now, our favorite work of art

And now, it’s been almost a year

Since I brought you home, that day

And you have brightened our lives

In so many different, loving, ways

You adore following me around

Your purrs of love, a sweet sound

And such a truly wondrous friend

In you, our little Flower, has found

And my wife, how she truly adores you, too

She fell in love with you, last Valentine’s Day

You always seem to know, just what to do

When she’s feeling down, or has the blues

You give all of your love, to us

Now, that you care, for all of us

Please stay, little Valentine, stay

With you, around our home

Each and every day now

Truly Is, Valentine’s Day

And There Just Might Be,

A Furry Little Valentine,

Now Waiting, Just For You,

At Your Local Animal Shelter.
