Still defying a federal ban
On hunting, from the sky
Calls it ‘wildlife management’
And few, even question why
Why 84 more wolves just gunned down
Why they are being shot, on federal land
Why she now plans, to also poison them
Why even pups, are in her slaughter plan
Why she has also now set her sights on bears
Why she ignores the citizens of her own state
Why no public comment is allowed at meetings
Why our leaders condone this barbaric wildlife fate
And now, she has her lofty sights set on the White House
She has the backing of powerful hunting lobbyists, after all
Our once treasured American wildlife, are in enough trouble
If she attains all of her many horrific goals, God Help Them All
In just five short days, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's Administration
Slaughtered 84 wolves on the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve,
Utilizing speedy helicopters, spotter planes, and high-powered rifles.
And with their denning season beginning very soon, defenseless young wolf pups
Will soon face death from deadly snares and poison gas in and around their dens.
The Alaskan Governor has also now expanded
Her aerial hunting ‘wildlife management’ campaign
To include bears, even targeting sows with young cubs.
Still defying a federal ban,
On hunting, from the sky;
She calls it ‘wildlife management,’
And far too few, even question why.

What is the reason for the killings? "Wildlife Management?" This is the only time in history that human beings have done such cruelty to
animals, and it will eventually lead to extinction, then the next generation will just look at wolves, bears, and seals in picture books.
