A timely message. It seems thare was less waste and garbage many years ago. Its sad the about the wastes and many who do not recycle or even pick up strewn trash.......M

As a child I saw all things being made at home, simple thing, everyday things. Now there is an industry for everything.
We hardly threw garbage, today our trash quantity is enormous, because we don't do no more simple thing, everyday things, others do it for us in all kind of throw-away-packagings so we have more time to rush going nowhere.

I totally agree, Ed, you've highlighted an area close to my heart. Hope your prose gets read by those that could really make a difference I whole heartedly advocate recycling and having recently de-cluttered, charity shops have benefited, it's very cathartic too... we have a compost heap which nurtures the garden...I could go on, but won't!!

Living in a motorhome you would find that there is precious little room for food & the bare essentials of living, so regards 'TOO MUCH STUFF', I ain't got much...my idea/motto has always been if you don't use what you got in six months it is not necessary...ed

day by day I'm getting more and more conscious, more and more organised, more and more aware and focussed... not nearly enough, though. But, once you start, you become appalled by the huge amounts of unnecessary stuff we choose to acquire AND are involuntarily given. And by how little you actually need to get by. Keep on keeping on, Ed. Like droplets starting up a waterwheel, hopefully there'll be a watershed to stem the tide... maybe even to turn it. This vid is excellent. Bless you, Kate xx

Stop demanding stuff, and buying it, they lived just fine on the farm, green and clean, and the nearest store was ten miles away and seldom bothered with selling unusable unrecycable trash, that is now trashing the earth. Thanks Ed, and bless you! Jasmin Horst

Some say the environment awareness is too sensationalized and not really happening, but the destruction of the earth is so very real, there is hot water underneath the snow in Hokaido, Japan! How can that be?

I recycle -- have done it for years, and know many people who also do. But we're talking about a massive change. A few can't help as much as there's need but regretably, those few will suffer along with the masses who keep destroying our planet. I am proud of what you do and who you are.
