“He swings from the chandelier; he paws my peanut butter;

He knocks over my drink in the most unfortunate places in the house;

But I still love him like crazy.  He’s like a hairball in my heart.”

 Audra Foveo-Alba

He began his life as ‘Tiger Lily’

My wife changed it to ‘Pee Wee’

But I call him ‘Billy the Kid’

He brings so much joy to me

It has been far too long now

Since we had a newborn around

Most of our pets, are older strays

There are just so many, to be found

But this devilish little furball

Reminds me so much of Buddy

I had taken him in, about this age

And like this one, he was truly nutty

Our clever little Billy the Kid

Can escape any and all enclosures

And, he can moonwalk, on the ceiling

His numerous antics, truly bowl me over

He will chase his tail, for hours

He will ride around, on my head

He will somersault, through the air

He already likes to hide, in our bed

He recently crawled into a drawer

And I laughed so hard, I almost died

When my wife found him inside her bra

I howled and I howled, tears in my eyes

Yesterday, he perched on a high cabinet

And he jumped on one of our dog’s backs

Poor Junior went racing on down the stairs

I laughed so hard, at Billy the Kid’s attack

As this tiny furball now amuses me for hours

I just wish I still had half of his whacky energy

And now, I thank God that He gave me this guy

Billy the Kid, provides his entertainment, for free

The joy of a tiny furball is unfathomable. Kittens are always the most fun. As we age though, we must remember. "Who's gonna care for them when we are in diapers, again."......LOL
Luv Ya Bro,

You caught me with something I like best about kittens and other young animals, Ed. I enjoy watching the kittens and their games going up and down the trees in our front yard, very acrobatic as you've pointed out here. I like that name, Billy the Kid.............Jerry

I think THIS name will stick! I wish I could see him. Any way to do a video? And for that quote: "...he throws up on my rug, the grass he chews, and never on the tile floor..." but I love my cat, Newton anyway
Wonderful

Billy the Kid?? Much more appropriate and the hours of fun and excitement will make you feel younger by the minute. Have fun and enjoy, he sure sounds like a mischievious, lighthearted soul. God surely placed him on the right door step...

Be always safe,
