Anyone who would subject an animal to this is sick and in my opinion beyond help.

This is sad indeed, I haven't heard of this in Canada
I have heard of people tiring of their pet and destroying them, or just dropping their pet off on a country road to fend for them selves
I once took in a black lab that the owner was going to shoot
It was the best dog I ever had, he died years later of old age
The kids could ride on his back and play with him, he was never a problem

Ed, this truly is a disgusting practice and how anyone can relish in joy from this behavior is beyond me. Not just for the dogs being taught to fight and kill, but all the nameless animals that were used to teach them to develop a taste for blood. This is so far beyond my comprehension because I just cannot understand how people can be so utterly cruel. We could certainly use some tougher laws, longer jail time......

Oh Ed, this is so heartbreaking. How can anyone be so cruel? I do my best to love and nurture all the pets that I come in contact with. They love to feel my energy, I give them Reiki all the time. So sad to know such horror still exists in this world.

The laws need more teeth in them - it is unaceptable the way that it is.

Humanity is some thing, but that other side is foreign, wherefrom they come I don't know, never heard of that planet, but then
God knows what lurks in the human heart, or maybe the devil too.
I've signed the petition, but as Georg said, the law is an ass, maybe they can wipe it just for once, and come out clean on the side of these poor creatures. Now in other places there are no laws against this in this world, where in Korea for instance this is what they do to Dogs every day, before they eat them, they believe it enhances their virility, kittens they boil alive like lobsters, all this is so called humanity, where we can behave worse than any wild animal ever would, not that they have a choice. This picture tore at my heart. It saddens me, no that word is not strong enough, angers me about this tragedy. I just can't believe a person would purposely hurt an animal. Thank you for writing this and making us aware.

It's hard to understand these actions of cruelty.
I have no answers but I do support ASPCA... I guess the
only thing we can do... just don't get the thinking of
people that are cruel.

I had two dogs in my household at one time. I was sorry to lose them to natural causes. I have recently had my pet cat go missing and find people are actually trapping cats. I don't know what happened to mine. She may have just wondered off but I know my wife and I both miss her. This write tells of hardened hearts.

String 'em up, those engaged in any form of animal abuse - they cease to be human if they harm a child, an animal or helpless person - the elderly, the disabled - string. 'Em. UP. First thing I said when I saw this pic, with stomach dropping, was, "Ah, Geez." Words fail -
