Some wonderful news out of Wisconsin
It just passed its new ‘Puppy Mill Law’
And now, it finally joins nine other states
But there is much work to do, to get them all
This law requires these canine breeders to get licensed
And breeding facilities will finally be inspected, regularly
Breeders are also required to provide ample food and water
And safe and clean enclosures, and even dog exercise facilities
Wisconsin now joins the states of Arizona, Connecticut, Indiana
Maine, Nebraska, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Tennessee
In finally passing some state legislation, that helps to protect these canines
And this legislation appropriately became law during Puppy Mill Action Week
Dog Advocates all across these United States are now applauding Wisconsin
And, if you live in a state other than these 10, please contact your state legislators
Demand that they also now take some action to start protecting Man’s Best Friend
