Another lovely snowfall
I find myself in the wood
All so quiet and calm here
The serenity, feels so good
No bickering or arguing
No sense of crime or hate
No mad dash rush of traffic
No chores, which cannot wait
Just the wondrous snow falling
Just lovely birdsong in the trees
Just a family of deer out walking
Just the scent of pine in the breeze
I walk on here, for quite some time
The crunch of snow, under my feet
Just nature, in all of its winter's glory
This sojourn, makes my day complete
My nature walks provide a little calm
In a world now spinning out of control
For me, a bit of woodland, at daybreak
Is the perfect place, for a leisurely stroll
Another lovely snowfall,
I find myself in the wood;
All so quiet and calm here,
The serenity, feels so good.
