I believe the law's need changes that bring about heavier penalities for those that hurt animals in any way. In AB just recently a rabbit mill was found. So very sad the amount that had to be put to sleep just because they where beyond help. They get a fine and told they can't have so many rabbits.....yet this is not the first time...nor will it be the last until they really have to pay for what they are doing.

All I can ask is this: WHY?? Heartbreaking!

This is what millions suffer, and some are not allowed to be called by their rightful name, "Puppy Mills, Concentration Camps," but according to some, are just "Breeding Facilities" But when you see in this week of "Animals in Labs" so called highly schooled supposedly intelligent people turturing little creatures with poisons, mutilations, etc, etc, all for a lousy buck, what do you expect from the sort of lowly demented people that run puppy mills.
We as the supposedly of God's favourite, we'll do almost anything to enhance our live no matter the cost to others, I think someday we'll have a rude awakening. As Georg said, we that don't care to change any of this, by whatever means, votes, buying powers, etc, etc, are just as guilty as the perpetrators, just as mean for not acting, that's my take on it all. What we teach at home and in kindergarten etc is also much neglected I think. Thanks for writing this, you are certainly doing your part reaching out for compassion, you are way up there on the ladder of what would be expected of a higher species.
