Five Canines and Five Felines, all now adopted
Please purchase some of these stamps, right away
Every year now, about 8 million pets, enter shelters
And so tragically, less than half of them, are adopted
The rest, through no fault of their own, are euthanized
We as a nation, must promote more pet adoptions, instead
We must also promote, the spaying and neutering of U.S. pets
And, we as a nation, must stop patronizing Puppy Mill pet stores
The millions of abused, abandoned, and homeless pets of America
Are truly deserving of being disrespected by our vast nation, no more
During the launch of this new series of stamps promoting American pet adoptions
The Halo Pet Food Company is donating one million meals to U.S. shelter animals
Please ask every dog and cat lover that you know, to purchase some of these stamps
To spay and neuter their own pets, and to stop purchasing pets at U.S. shopping malls

Who refused to spay his own cat; then ran off her kittens, so mercilessly

In which, every truly deserving feline and canine born here, has a loving home
We will never be able to accomplish this, without new nationwide ‘Pet Respect’

PS: would love to go the the Gulf coast and help the animals there though the problem is lack of funds...gas & living arrangements down there and all would be my problem...clean a bird or two for me...though NJ "may" see some of the problem what with the oil getting into the gulf stream, eventually...Jersey
