As I sit here sadly watching this unfold
I soon think of Rachel Carson’s words
Earth’s ocean, which gave us all - Life
How mankind abuses her, how absurd
From the tons of garbage, we toss into her
To this oil spill, which causes her, such strife
To the toxic chemicals, being used to ‘de-oil’
We defile her, and we take her children’s lives
Some are now saying the ‘oil-busting’ chemicals
May in reality, be as deadly, as the oil leak itself
It sadly seems that many of man’s so called cures
In reality these days, often bring a side-effect hell
And all of this, as Mother’s Day, now approaches
What an abysmal gift, for she, who gave us all- life
What horrendous children, we human beings must be
We are killing our own Mother, how can this be right
And I sadly wonder, what excuses, each one of us, will give
When the time comes, for God, to judge us, for our deeds
Will we claim ignorance, will we try to blame this on others
Or will we admit, we are all guilty, of callousness and greed
As I sit here sadly watching this unfold,
I soon think of Rachel Carson’s words;
Earth’s ocean, which gave us all – Life,
How mankind abuses her, how absurd.

Sorry ole chum. Not sure if Americans are aware of how hated they are throughout the world. Refusing to sign any agreement, in the name of Americas god. The mighty Dollar. So many Americans have no-idea how 98% of the world are living. I was in Africa, and the yanks wanted fast food and could not understand, nor relate to another culture.
The world has realised that America thinks it has to be Americas lifestyle and form of democracy. And they will fight to impose their culture on ancient civilisations.
America, go home. Sort out your superficial country before policing the world. All men are equal. In the constitution. Only meant the rich classes. Franklin etc called the blacks savages. And it still goes on in the land of the free?
