Another Angel Among Us

“She must have known something was up;

Now Angel is our Guardian Angel.”

The Boy’s Mother

First, there was ‘Angel’ the Pit Bull

Now, another story out of Canada

A Golden Retriever, named ‘Angel’

Just saved a boy from a Cougar’s jaws

An 11-year old young man, in British Columbia

Owes his life, to his very courageous canine friend

He was about to be attacked, while gathering wood

When his Angel lunged at the Cougar, in his defense

A Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman responded to the 911 call

He had to shoot the Cougar, who was now killing the Retriever

Two very recent stories, about the bravery of man’s best friend

That Guardian Angels come in many forms, I am a true believer

The Year 2011 has Started with Two Angel Dogs, Defending Man;

It’s Time To Reciprocate, And For Them, Do Everything That We Can.

There Are So Many Brave, Abandoned Angels In Our Dog Pounds;

Perhaps, In A Shelter Right Near You, Your Own Angel Can Be Found.

“You think dogs will not be in heaven?

I tell you, they will be there long before any of us.”

Robert Louis Stevenson

Ed,

Once again you show your love and compassion for animals. Good thing the retriever was there. Angels come in all forms. A little kitten saved my husband from deep depression. So he named her Angel.

When I was laying outside my camper back in 2009 & in a coma, Rufuz would not let anyone that he knew could not help me near, only the one that could help me did he allow to do so...& they say dogs are dumb, not in my book...ed

How many more sad lessons we have to learn, to finally know, that angels need not always have wings, they seldom do I think, you are one of them for posting this, and helping all you can, these precious Angels among us. Were they dressed in religious uniforms with wings and all and abandoned on the streets, maybe more would see and act differently. Bless you my friend! Jasmin Horst

Everyman deserves an Angel to guide them night and day. I know if you treat them with love and kindness they will return it over and over. Thank you Ed for sharing.

Newfie hugs, Rose
