Still Waitin For My 'Free Stuff'

“The only reason that I lost this election,

Was that my opponent was giving out

Lots and Lots of Free Stuff!”

The Extremely Sore Loser

I thought he gave a good defeated speech

And I was very glad the election was over

But suddenly he’s back, ranting and raving

And I, for one, am still not, rolling in clover

I have also checked with my spouse, who also voted

And she cannot recall any ‘free stuff’ coming her way

So I decided to talk to my neighbors, and canvass them

We are all now mystified, no ‘free stuff’ anywhere today

All of us are still paying exorbitant prices for health insurance

We haven’t got any notice that this month, mortgages are ‘free’

My neighbors and their kids, are still paying their student loans

But we are now determined to solve this latest election mystery

Several of us raced down to the gas station, asking about ‘free gas’

The attendant laughed, and howled, and said: “That’ll be the day!”

And since I am a veteran, I visited my local veterans benefits office

Where I was very rudely told: “Sorry Veteran; No Free Stuff, Today.”

And when I drove over to the animal hospital to pick up my latest orphan

I asked their staff if I would now be getting ‘free medical care’ for this one

They hemmed and hawed and sadly told me: “We’re afraid that’s impossible”

So, I paid his veterinary bill, like I always do, but my quest was not yet done

I rushed home and called the White House, asking where my ‘Free Stuff’ was

The person who answered the phone soon laughed, and said: “It’s in the mail!”

I have now been sitting by my mailbox for the past several days – and nothing

I think there should be a Congressional Inquiry, and someone should be jailed

-I Think I At Least Deserve A Fruit Basket or Something-

Everyone..........yes, everyone entitled to their opinion. Desperate call out, beg for help. Desperate, reach out and understand its up to them, their self. Everyone....entitled to their opinion. It's not a President that will destroy a country, but the people behind him. And, those same people will be there in 2016.

God Bless America...God Bless Us,

Great satire. My sister, who isn't exactly rich, but is very good at poor-mouthing, was lamenting about the same thing. About how she had to pay that the mortgage and her house that no longer had its value while all those folks got free money to buy houses. Strange, because all that happened during the Bush administration. Then, she lamented about the “clunker program.” That program got a lot of dangerous, gas consuming and polluting cars off the road, saved many dealerships and jumpstarted the revival of the auto industry in America, and generally was a good thing. But then, hindsight is always 20-20.

I too watched Mr. R's concession speech and thought he bowed out gracefully...his remarks about 'free stuff'...not so much. Perhaps he should realize the race for Prez is over and he should go off to one of his many mansions and count his gold. Nice write.

Wonderful write Mr. Ed, but those of us
that are intelligent know it was a lot of
his charismatic B.S. he was feeding the lot
to win the election... he did it before and did
it again...

Rather funny, I was listening to some interesting
reasons why he was elected... and rather sad as well
Several young women of the "Catholic" faith were interviewed..

Ready? First this:

Take a pill each day to prevent pregnancy
Safe, effective, and convenient
Easy to get with a prescription
Cost about $15–$50 each month

They looked at how much his "supposed" Health care plan
would save them a month. "Free"

I wonder how long they will wait too

:)
