We had a fundraiser last Saturday night
For all of the homeless orphans on the street
And we brought our latest furry angelic orphan
People stood in line, this one they wanted to meet
Our winding path, had led us to an old dilapidated garage
Inside it was this angel, trapped inside it, dwelling in its hell
I believe angels do exist in many forms, they are all around us
Their mission is to remind us that on earth, more than men dwell
They are here to remind us all, that we are supposed to be, their guardians
And the staunch advocates, of all of the other life forms, here on this planet
They suffer, so that other earthly creatures will hopefully, be spared their fate
They are here among us, to remind us, not to take any god-given life for granted
And this one named ‘Newbee’ is the perfect representative for all street orphans
His very presence at this fund raiser, helped us to raise, both money and awareness
And soon, we hope that this furry angel, will be able to retire, and to live peacefully
Since tomorrow, on my winding path, I know I’ll meet yet another angel, on its quest
