As The Mayan Doomsday now so rapidly approaches
I wonder if the Earth would be better off, if this were true
A rapid end to our long suffering world, and then a re-start
Instead of the long agonizing death we are putting it through
It is extremely difficult to find much ‘good news’ anymore
Our daily news reports now contain only murder and mayhem
Never ending wars, genocide, mass killings, and climate change
So much of our once wondrous world is slowly coming to an end
The extremely wealthy minority of our population is getting wealthier
While the vast majority of humanity edges closer to horrendous poverty
We’re chopping down most of our forests, and blowing up our mountains
We are driving more and more species to extinction, and polluting our seas
According to most scientists, our exploding human population is now non-stop
There will come a day, when people will kill each other for fresh water or bread
They also predict more wildfires, more massive droughts, and more super storms
We will be leaving our children a truly abysmal planet, that one day, will be ‘dead’
As the Mayan Doomsday now so rapidly approaches,
I wonder if the Earth would be better off, if this were true ;
A rapid end to our long suffering world, and then a re-start,
Instead of the long agonizing death we are putting it through.
And if all of us are all still here on the 22nd Day of December,
We will most certainly awaken to some more horrendous news;
Another war, another mass murder, or another species now gone,
Today just thinking about our sad old world, can truly make one blue.

This city wants to get rid of them, they don't want to hear the message, they are the message, destroy all living things, how many citys, countries, etc, how many people are sending this message today, We rather destroy than.....You have as always, great wisdom in your words, might some still sane induviduals run with it, and build a temple onto Gaia, and the great creator I pray.
