February is designated ‘National Spay/Neuter Month’
The Pet Advocate Groups Promote This, All The Time
Yet, far too many U.S. pet owners refuse to have it done
Resulting in millions of unwanted pets, now being euthanized
An estimated 6 to 8 million dogs and cats, enter shelters every year
And, over half of them are never adopted, so they must be euthanized
So sadly, over 90 percent of the homeless pets we rescue from the streets
Aren’t spayed or neutered; our pet overpopulation problem is not a surprise
There are also many U.S. pet owners who allow their dogs and cats to run free
These are the very same people, who never bother to spay or neuter their pets
Oblivious to the fact, their pets impregnate others, or get pregnant themselves
Resulting in the never ending cycle of more unwanted pets, not even born yet
In addition to all of this, we have the truly horrendous Puppy Mills in our nation
Which continue to churn out more and more puppies, in their never ending greed
We also have thousands and thousands of ‘Backyard Breeders’ producing more pets
Yet, thousands and thousands of people buy from them; they care not, they refuse to see
They proclaim that they are ardent dog and cat lovers, who truly love their own pets
But they never visit a shelter, to gaze upon the faces of all the pets on ‘Death Row’
They never even notice all the homeless dogs and cats, in their own neighborhoods
All of the starving, emaciated, unwanted and unloved pets, wandering out in the cold
Estimated number of cats and dogs entering shelters each year:
6-8 million
Estimated number of cats and dogs euthanized by shelters each year:
3-4 million
Estimated number of cats and dogs reclaimed by owners from shelters each year:
Just 30 percent of dogs and only 5 percent of cats
For God’s Sake and For Theirs,
Spay/Neuter Your Own Pets,
And Adopt, Don’t Shop;
Or We Will Never End,
Their Now Endless Agony.

P.S. When are they going to close all the loop holes and barn doors that let all this happen?; Those that walk about in dark suits and polital stripes not care, not have a heart?

I am heartbroken each time I go to the shelter to donate
food, dollars and just sit to spend time with all of them...
My soul wants to bring them all home and give them all love all
the time. Ah I could say for this reason only I wish I could be
rich to do so to build a sanctuary for them and give them all the
love they deserve...
Yes, spay and neuter let the suffering stop...
