-Our Eradication Of All Wildlife In America Is Horrendously Escalating-

“To establish a year-round hunting season for wild bison,

With virtually no limitations;

To authorize private landowners to shoot on sight,

Any wild bison that wander onto their property;

To order state officials to exterminate and remove,

Any and all wild bison that migrate into Montana.”

A Bill Before The Montana Legislature

In the last few years of Our National Betrayal

Ever since Congress eliminated their protection

Lobbyists have been bombarding state officials

To bring all of America’s wild animals to an end

In our new ‘National Killing Frenzy’

We now target all our remaining wildlife

We are killing wolves, bears, and dolphins

And now, we begrudge the Wild Bison its life

We nearly wiped out all the bison a hundred years ago

Until they were finally granted sanctuary, in Yellowstone

But today, even the very few remaining, are not protected

Special interest groups want them eradicated from their home

Their slaughter a century ago caused the demise of Native Americans

And today, many Native Americans are attempting to save, the last few

But in our gluttonous modern era of eradicating all of our national treasures

Many Americans today won’t be satisfied, until all other life forms are through

I am extremely grateful that I got to see America’s magnificent remaining wild bison

On my numerous nature excursions to wondrous wildlife sanctuaries, like Yellowstone

Future generations of wildlife and nature loving Americans, will not be as fortunate as I

Today, our horrific national agenda now seems to be to deny every wild creature, a home

It gets kinda old, all this chaotic rushing to populate and urbanize the country. A few days riding shotgun with you would change a lot of minds, as well as hearts.

I have had the fortune of tasting wild bison. Bison steak is lean and rich tasting, much better than beef. My point here is that the wild prairie produced much more food, fiber, carbohydrates, and protein than modern, genetically modified, factory farming, draining our aquifers at an alarming rate and leaving the entire area exposed to drought.

As I pointed out in my novel, Alone?, returning the prairie to the natural diversity it once had with open range and tolerant species like the Serengeti, would greatly enhance the life experience of everyone.

I just don't understand why the human race would want to eliminate so many other species. Are they so insecure?
Sad, sad, sad!

Who the hell makes these laws, and why are people letting them get away with it, so many stupid laws , and so arbitrary, what happened to the power of the people, we might as well have a monarch again telling us what to do, Oh, I forgot, the Robber Barons of money, and their greed, they never left, instead they are glorified, God save the king, could be replaced by, God save the Robber Barons, the ones with all the greenbacks and their influence peddlers. Good write Ed, most people aren't even aware of what's going on, and Bison? What is a Bison? Can we have them in virtual reality?

Always a tragedy and more seems to come daily...

Our country continues to slaughter off all our beautiful creatures...

Saddening...
