Music:  Who Let The Dogs Out?

I could really use a bigger backyard pool

These horrifically hot and humid Dog Days

More and more canines, are now showing up

The Doggy Grapevine must advertise my place

My nasty spouse roars, as she peeks out the window

She thinks it’s a riot, that they have taken over my pool

And I guess that I really can’t blame these hot canines

These dreadful Dog Days, make it real ruff to stay cool

I just wish that I could charge all of these dogs admission

And I wish my spouse would serve us Milkbones and Beer

But she won’t even venture outside in this hellish heat wave

“Get your own poolside refreshments, it’s nice and cool in here!”

So I guess that the dogs and I are gonna be on our own all this week

But I know that eventually I will have to make another hot Snack Run

I can recall those good old days, when I had this old pool all to myself

But I guess, in these dreadful Dog Days, dogs too, need some cool fun
