It took me a long time to find my soul mate

And I truly believe that animals have them too

These two abandoned orphans, found each other

Both are now happy, no longer do they have the blues

Little Renny was wandering the mean streets, all alone

Each and every night, he was lonely, unloved, and afraid

Little Roxie was forlornly dodging traffic, on a very busy road

They found each other at my home, and they are inseparable today

At their very first meeting, these two felt a connection to each other

They quickly began spending both day and night, at each other’s side

They romp, and play, and wrestle, and sleep together, both now content

Watching them enjoying each other’s company, now truly makes me smile
