Our own government is now promoting ‘The Wildlife Annihilation Craze’
Now killing millions of our remaining native wildlife, each and every year
A branch of the U.S. Agriculture Department now hires Wildlife Mercenaries
To shoot, trap, and poison wildlife; including wolves, bobcats, foxes, and bears
The staggering number of animals now slaughtered by USDA’s ‘Wildlife Services’ division
Has now horrendously reached nearly 6,000 animals per day, which is four every minute
They claim this slaughter is needed today, to protect Agriculture and Livestock Interests
They simply ignore ‘The Endangered Species Act’ to promote this horrific Killing Business
These hired Wildlife Mercenaries now shoot, trap, and poison remaining wildlife everywhere
Including our once protected areas, like our national parks and designated wildlife sanctuaries
It’s bad enough that we have already destroyed most of our wildlife’s ancient natural habitats
And today, instead of attempting to protect what is left of them, we promote this killing spree
The Center for Biological Diversity has taken legal action to stop this ever-increasing slaughter;

And also please protect your own pets – please do not allow them to roam free;
Pets are also being killed by traps and poisons, in this horrendous Killing Spree.
And today, I am heading off on one more northwood wilderness trek;
To hopefully observe and enjoy wildlife, before nothing that I love is left.
-And some still claim that we are not killing this once vibrant, life-filled planet-
Nature is the best caretaker, man is very poor at that. We have to give credit to some hunters who, after wiping out the passenger pigeon, realized that they had to rehabilitate some favorite species like the Canada Goose, but it was open season on most predators until they became endangered in many areas as late as 1970s. When the predator populations started to recover, the federal government got involved in "weeding out" populations considered the too large to be sustained. That process has grown and prompted the article that you are describing.
I read that article and have signed all of the Center for Biological Diversity petitions in an effort to let nature do its job and stop "protecting" commercial interests.
Thanks for your comment, Sandie. And unfortunately, the same horrendous slaughter is happening in Canada - the Canadian government is also killing your wildlife, including baby seals.
In the near future, most of North America will be devoid of most wildlife, and we will be leaving a dead continent to our children and grandchildren.
