My devilish old brother
Is complaining yet again
Saying Santa forgot him
No presents did he send
But I have just informed him
That dear old Ma didn’t forget
She sent him ‘Soap On A Rope’
Although he hasn’t received it yet
Dear old Ma wanted to save postage
So, she is sending his gift via a friend
Who will be heading off to Atlantic City
My brother should receive it by year’s end
Dear old Ma is always so considerate
His ‘Soap On a Rope’ smells like fish
So when he walks the beach, he’ll fit in
What a truly marvelous Christmas Gift
You Lucky Old Jersey Devil You,
All I Got Was a Bottle of Booze!

I'm sure glad it's got a rope, wouldn't want that fish to end up on the floor at the communal beachside shower that the Devil frequents. Never know what would happen as he tried to catch it swimming in the suds.
