I just received an e-mail that the lake caves are re-opening
One of my favorite places to visit, while we wait for Spring
It’s only a one-mile walk, over the frozen lake to these caves
My Beasty Boys are always ready, for whatever Nature brings

I’ve visited these magnificent lake ice caves numerous times
And every time, a totally different free Ice Spectacular appears
Mother Nature has always provided so many wonders to behold
And to see them, I have traveled both near and far, over the years

So many people in our modern world today, ignore Nature’s free gifts
While they pay hundreds of dollars to attend a concert, or a Super Bowl
I prefer to seek out the ancient, natural, wondrous, amazing, spectaculars
Like wilderness lakes, wetlands, canyons, and these ice caves in the snow
