Cartoon tears
Unmask hidden fears
with quickly fading lines.
For all is transparent
When illusions are apparent
amongst the tender slips in time.
For I can see silver trees
Tall and budding free,
Teaming strong with golden squirrels
Which give way to little girls at play,
Who wear dainty ribbons in amber kissed curls.
Dancing and dancing, these little girls go,
Dancing from the river to the valley below,
They dance and dance though to a singular show
And twirl in madness through the lavender snow.
Oh how they sing and manically laugh,
As the golden squirrels up silver trees gasp.
For these little girls with their cartoon tears,
Unmask reality and the worlds hidden fears.
For they betray themselves as quickly as the fading line,
As the silver trees
begin to lose their leaves,
and the little girls with amber kissed curls,
dance in madness one last time.
