Poem Artwork
If I were a bird,

I would sing for you,

Sweet little songs of love,

whenever you were sad or blue.

I would fly to you at the speed of sound

Until you in your sadness I surely found,

And I would then sing my songs of love to you,

forever hoping for a way of keeping you from being sad or blue.

For I have thought of you so much today,

In a tender, warm, and special way,

For I felt the pitter patter of your hot tears

Fall like a summer rain upon my ears,

Hence the raison d'être for this little song to you,

So listen to me, my love and wake with me to the mornings light

Hold me close by your side, and kiss me before the fading night.

Taste of this love that burns inside so hot for you,

And let us lose ourselves to something wild and new.

So take hold of my hand,

And together lets frolic naked in the warm sand.

Lets loose ourselves to the pent up passion within

And we shall see that love like this has no end.

For together shall we,

Live a love of eternity,

On this and a future shore,

Forever and evermore

Allen, the two words that come to my mind is..'only if'. Only if we could make ours and those we love, dreams come true. It may be a far-fetched goal but as long as we continue to try..we haven't yet failed.
Your heart is full of tender passion and emotion. You possess an awesome gift. Lisa
