Yellow Moon
By shadow of yellow moon
The white heron doth fly.
Blossoms of black cherry,
Sweet scents of mountain pine.
Reeds whisper of forgotten days in the
Hollow Pagodas lost unto the mind.
For their wisdom is now trampled unto this place
Where dark the apparitions of water buffalo graze.
As consumption begets consumption
And the white heron falls victim
Of the yellow moons ominous haze.

It is a fearful spectacle, and we would all do well to get down on our hands and knees, and pray for Deliverance !

good to see you posting!
The beauty of darkness overcome by a yellow moon.
A poem that points out the duality of life, good and bad!

Wow what an exquisite painting this is! The page literally came alive.
I felt as though I were standing at the base of a tree somewhere on the African plains, watching the wildlife drink from the only watering hole around.
Stunning work J.Allen.
