Re-Creations In Joy
Oh from fallen tree across the wood and gentle plain,
comes now the sweet surrender to raw nature this day.
Whispers of leaves crackle now against a northern wind
And there is a gathering of crows, and running deer just around the bend.
Pale rocks and shell jut like coins from the rivers time worn bank
as the flowing estuaries of widening silence give testimony
to this day, as in all of its glory, I unto Him give thanks.
For I have been chosen to capture the beauty of this wonderful land,
and I am to leave with it a glimpse of its re-creation by my hand.
Oh blessed am I as I take to this labor of love this gentle coming day,
Oh blessed am I beyond measure to document the glory of what He has made.
