Upon Hills Of Green

To see glory upon the hills of green

To taste on thy lips the cusp of dreams

To come now before the throne of gold

To at last know of these things that once only…my inner spirit could behold.

For as in the days of thunder amidst the falling rain,

I from the depths of darkness called upon His name.

Legions black and sinister shuddered upon this call

as they in their misery upon their faces they did fall.

Smoke arose from the ashes of my burdened soul,

as His holy hand from heaven touched me and made me whole.

Therefore by His grace, I stand upon these hills of green.

I stand, I kneel, and I behold the face of He who hath set me free.

For glory is no longer a dream in this land of mine,

Glory is everyday in that He caused my face to shine.

For He took me from the darkness that held my soul,

He gave me life eternal for in this I shall always know.

Great Write.
