Know This My Heart


Never doubt this heart, which unto the darkest night doth shine.
Never fall into this valley of fear, for I am yours and you are mine.
Believe now upon this wondrous joy that only a lifetime can bring.
Know my heart is forever yours and just the sound of your voice makes it sing.

So to each mountain that we climb there calls yet another valley on our journey in our time.
Yet my sweet Leah fear not when you fail to see me, even though the darkness is all around.
I am here by your side; I hold your heart; I will carry you securely in my love to higher ground.
As it is unto the mountain and to the raging sea, I will subdue it all my love that you may be free.

I shall never falter nor fail you when you feel abandoned in the barren field of neglect.
I am always with you in both heart and mind and unto all that ever was, you I will protect.
So sing sweetly in your dreams when the coming night has chance to pass your way.
Sing sweetly and always know that my love for you is forever and shall never once go astray.

Though I came to you as a stone culled from the rocky slopes of midnights broken dreams.
We through it all have put together our hope; we have became as one to which we shall never grieve.
I love you Leah, oh precious heart of my need, I will love you forever and to your very soul I’ll cleave.
