Thank You
The rising sun stretched forth yellow fingers across the emerging landscape.
Songbirds twittered as trees and bushes sprang noisily to life.
I paused momentarily beneath an ancient pecan tree and quietly offered thanks.
Thanks oh Lord for this heart that beats yet to another day.
Thanks for these my eyes in which to see the glory you made.
Thank you so much for all that you have to me gave.
Thank you Lord for all these things that have come my way.
