Tempest Of Storms Blow

Its been a rough ride for the upstate of South Carolina today with multiple storms passing our way.

Tempest Of Storms Blow

Clouds dark; menacing, silence upon stillness grows.

The coldness gives way; the heat soon begins to rise.

Heaviness clings to the tepid air; the wind rises and blows.

Alarms send signal with a continuous and eerie roar.

Dogs begin to howl as birds seek bushes and trees.

So black; so dark; God save us is mortal mans plea.

The wind starts to scream; the house violently shakes.

Then all is still once more….

The storm has passed with only a few downed trees in its wake.

More they say are on the way…shouldn’t be long now.

Praying am I still that no harm will befall anyone anyhow.

Allen, echoing others, hang in there. Knowing that this has been a bummer of a winter, everywhere, has to be of some solice.

Peace,
Dan

We do not experience storms here very much at all but your offering reminds me of the storms of the prairies where I grew up as a child. Thank you. Love and peace to you,

Regis

Thanks for a glimpse into the worry and fear that these violent storms wreck on unsuspecting towns and cities.

(((Allen)))

STAY SAFE, okay? I hate this time of year - the severe weather season has been particularly nasty - you are in my prayers! Excellent capture of the storm.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
