Lord I Need Yor Help

by J. Allen Wilson — Read all 1,629 poems by J. Allen Wilson

5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he said to him, Will you be made whole? 7 The weak man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me. 8 Jesus said to him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk. 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked.

I ask all to be mindful of us when you pray please.

Lord I Need Your Help

This journey oh Lord is so dark and so very lonely.

I do not understand and I know not the reason that it should be this way.

I only ask that you lend the grace of your ear to me whilst I humbly pray.

I know with certainty that fear oh Lord is the complete opposite of faith.

Yet I am so weak sometimes that another day I fear I shall not make.

So heed this supplication Lord and deliver NOW this house in which I stand.

For Lord I am but a whisper on the lips of eternity and my soul…my weeping soul is mired helplessly in sinking sand.

Oh God, the very joy that gladdens my heart needs your touch this very night.

And Lord you know me better than I know myself…

You know my heart, and you know that I would gladly give of my life for Leah

So give her holy purification in that a whole host of her days are golden and bright.

I try to be strong Lord; I try so hard to understand.

Help me Lord…help me and deliver me and my wife.

Deliver us from the fear that has consumed our land.

Release us from this infirmity that has shadowed our life.

You say Lord that I should only believe…God I do, I really do.

So count this voice not as one of gloom but as a voice of praise in thanksgiving to you.

For I am just talking my heart to you dear God; and Lord I truly do believe.

I believe that your hand will be on Leah tonight and I oh Lord BELIEVE that everything will be alright.

If it is his will he will heal Leah. He knows what is best and I know this prayer will reach him and he will do his best to answer it. You have left it in his hands and prayers do help lots. Hoping and praying she will soon be alright and whole.

Allen,

Jesus said, in Matthew 18, verses 19 and 20:

Again, I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven.

For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there I am in the midst of them.

Touch Leah and know my prayers join with yours -

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :(
