My Leah Has Passed On Into Glory

Four months after being diagnosed with terminal cancer my precious Leah has gone on to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. As many of you know I took a leave from work to attend her needs and try to bring her joy…I wanted to be a blessing to her, but as usual she was the one who blessed me. On Sunday morning at 7am she started having trouble breathing. I did not want her to pass without a chance for her family to say goodbye so I took her to the hospital where they kept her comfortable until I could assemble the whole family.

Each and every member of her family came; they kissed her and wished her a happy birthday…Sunday was her birthday. As the end came closer I saw the glory of God come across her face. She was seeing things that we could not see. As her respiration fell to four breaths per minute, the vile cancer that had filled her lungs began to expel itself. I told everyone to leave the room at once since I did not want them to remember her last breath being anything less than the dignified woman of God that she was….I raised her head in my arms and held her close and reminded her once more of my promise to her…I had made her promise to me that when she sat down at the table to sup with Jesus tonight that she would save me a seat….and I promised her that I would be there….she passed into glory at 8:10pm with her in my arms…

Ironically she was born of the flesh on her first birthday and born of the spirit on her last. She is now in the loving arms of Jesus; free from the bonds of this vessel of clay; free to celebrate life eternal with Christ Jesus her savior and lord.

I miss her so much…and I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support…I love you all, and Leah LOVES you too….God Bless

Allen & Leah

Even though your heart is aching, and words just resound over and over again, and I do not wish to echo them any more today, listen for the silent call, and the gentle touch of the Lords voice and hand, and be comforted by him. Only his mercy can give you the comfort at this time you need! This I know. My thoughts and love to you also.
Stay close J, we are all, always here for human comfort and a shoulder.

Allen, I send you my love, peace and angel lightness. She passes on her birthday, and it was also my birthday. (9/07/53) Do you know that this is a full circle for Leah. It is an incredible thing to pass into the spirit world on the same date as your birth into the human world. I know she will be at peace now, and will look over you from her rest.
May her soul be ever light, and find peace in the love of God.

Allen, as you know, I haven't been on AD for awhile now but something nudged my heart and told me to check to see if you had anything posted. My heart goes out to you Allen - you've been strong for Leah when I knew your soul was hurting so that you could hardly stand it. She needed you and you were there to comfort and show her the care, love and security she needed. I'm sure she felt as though you were her angel as well as her husband, lover, and friend. God lead you through this darkness to care for her and to bring her peace in her hour of need. Your faith is strong and God realizes your talents through your writings and what you can continue to bring to others through this talent. Leah is not suffering any more and she is in a place where she has "no" more pain. God gave you a beautiful, vibrant, "Rose" here on this earth and she will be waiting at the table for you so the two of you can sup together with Jesus. I pray God grants you and your family comfort during these darkest hours. I'll forever feel like I'm a true friend of you & Leah for you both were whispered many times on my lips since I found out about Leah. May God be with you and yours granting you all faith, hope, and peace of mind. God Bless All Of You.

Beloved Brother, you have waged a most-valiant battle, on behalf of your precious Leah! She went to Glory knowing, without a doubt, that she was loved on this side, with a Perfect Love, too.

You are BOTH stellar examples of Christ-likeness. Leah leaves behind a great Legacy of Life In Christ, with the comfort of knowing, that you would carry on, Allen.

The LORD hold you in the palm of His hand, close to His heart, and give you now, much-deserved rest and peace.

It's an honor to know you, Allen.
Much Love &Hope, Joe & Rhonda

Be comforted, dear Allen. You have done your best for Leah, and she knew that. What a blessing...the love you shared, wavered not. Let these words of Christ soothe your soul, for you know He means what He says: "In my Fathers's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also..." John 14:2,3. This is where Leah is...this is where believers want to be, also.
In the meantime, please accept my love and condolences in this, your greatest hour of testing.

Abundant blessings...
Lena

Know you are hurting right now and have lots to do. My Father passed away on his 64th birthday. Was a sad day too. Hoping and praying you will be alright throughout the coming days. Prayers of mine with you always. Take care and I kow she is celebrating a great birthday with Jesus. You were strong throughout it all. She had you til the end which is what she wanted and you wanted. Her spirit is with you always as I feel Tom's with me each and every day and minute still. Take care now

Allen:

I've read your recent posts about Leah's eyes being closed, and I knew she was not too far from God. My dad had done the same thing too, closed eyes, but was very alert.

My deepest condolences and sympathy goes to you and your family members who love Leah. My eyes are watering now, I just wish there's something I could do to ease your pain in the loss.

However, knowing that Leah is now pain free and is now with God, you can rest assured that she is now happy where she is. She is now your guardian angel, she will be watching over you. You will soon find that she will be much closer to you in spirit and you will be happy to know that she is doing just fine.
