Seeing Ghost
The bells clanged; voices chimed on intercoms down busy halls.
Nurses and doctors shuffled and disappeared behind windowless walls.
Memories of a time not so very long ago came crashing down upon my soul.
Room after room I passed laid the sick and dying and then I saw a ghost.
Her hair was long and blonde; her eyes as blue as the large and open sea.
She pleaded with mournful eyes that said Da, please oh please help me.
I closed my eyes for a moment to escape this most vivid scene.
Yet there she was still in my heart and soul just like my reoccurring dream.
Help me Da…her blue eyes so softly and tenderly to me plead.
I screamed in my spirit…I cannot my love…I cannot for you are now dead.
I hurried on past nurses pushing carts laden with tools of the hospital trade.
I heard muffled moans from rooms I passed and in my spirit for them I prayed.
I wanted to reach out and help each and everyone.
Yet I could not for I could not even save that of my love.
I saw a ghost today…and she cried softly my name….

How hard it must have been for you to go to the hospital, so many memories there of Leah. Keep marching onward, my friend. I feel Leah is watching over you and wanting peace of mind for your heart and soul. God be always with you, and guide your steps.
Blessings and huggs,
~Linda
You're trying ... it hurts, but you're trying to live: there is strength in your lines of facing life, even if you don't think so. You continue to be in my prayers -
