You Are The Wind Beneath My Wings

You are the wind beneath my broken and fragile wings.

Your sweet smile steals my heart, and ode to joy it brings.

I think of our days in which we laughed and laughed under the sun.

And I remember the peace that my tired soul felt when the day was done.

Though mountains and oceans between us gape far and wide.

I will always treasure those tender moments as you walked by my side.

For you lift me higher and higher with each passing day.

You are indeed the wind beneath my wings

and just the thought of you takes my breath away.
