To Drift And To Dream

To drift; to dream; to feel the awe-

Beneath the sum of all things.

To taste of the heart and of it’s hope-

To touch the sky; to secretly know.

Sail on now, oh simple heart-

Explore, conclude, and make now a new start.

Set now your sights on a world unknown.

Strive; endure, and reach forth of a new home.

Ah, but to drift and to dream.

To taste of the sweetness in life…

But to hold the key, which unlocks the chains, which bind.

Alas, to achieve beyond all expectations the sum of all things.
