I Hear HIS Whisper

by J. Allen Wilson — Read all 1,629 poems by J. Allen Wilson

Fret not of tomorrow, for no matter what assails thee…GOD is in control of all aspects of your life. Too often we give up on GOD because of our sinful and carnal nature...but GOD never gives up on us….HE promises that if we seek HIM with all of our heart…then HE will give us the desires of our heart. I only seek HIS will, and I know that through HIM true love once again I shall feel….Thank you God…Thank you JTG

Poem Artwork

Hope diminished by darkness; yet brighter days promised to come.

A thousand candles lit brought forth in joy by the word of HIS love.

Grace shines brighter than that of a million searing burning suns.

For by faith, not by sight, I search, I seek only HIS will in my life be done.

I hear HIS whisper as it lays in the darkness of night upon my bleeding heart.

HIS promises are a surety, and from HIS holy purpose shall I never depart.

Roads thus travelled have been fraught with the perils of simply living life.

Yet, and only by HIS grace should I…oh I at last see again the light.

Should this man ever forget the past, then I…he becomes like a ship without an anchor.

For by this it is lone and adrift in the sea is he; alone without the reason that he is here for.

In HIM, hope shall never be diminished, love for yesterday, and the morrow shall never die.

For to surrender would to be give the devil his due, and GOD I know is the only path to life.
