The Last Hours Of The Den
I remember the yesterdays as if they are cast unto my unknowing tomorrow.
I remember my friends here on the den, and yet still I part with a knowing sorrow.
Life has been good; life has been sad, but, oh but how I relish the friendship I’ve had.
The twins, Karen & Karla have been faithful and true , and yes indeed I will miss both of you.
Also there is dear Eddie M. who has been through such an ordeal on his very own.
I have tried and tried to call him just to see how he is getting along.
There are so many others that through the years I have known.
And I feel that in my heart, as long as there is breath, you all shall belong.
You all do not know how hard it is for me to you all say my goodbye.
Therefore I suspect that this is my last chance to you that I should try.
May God always make your path straight, may He always light your way.
