Fleeting
Fleeting memories collide.
Dreams from old sages abide.
Whispers scream into the night.
White Seraphim’s gather to take flight.
Dark moons chase away a billion stars.
Old wounds heal leaving dreadful scars.
Childlike hearts whimper and smile.
Déjà vu threatens along life’s last mile.
So kiss the darkness and embrace the fading light
Yesterday embraces today; tomorrow is out of sight.
Hope smacks of insolence; surety lay now dead.
Fleeting memories collide; broken voices pollute the head.
