The Sirens Song
Sleep with a deft finger draws across a silver sky.
Chrystal tears echo in melancholy laughter of a broken tomorrow.
The siren she calls, yet he does not hear, for all he can do is cry.
Waters are now born on tempest storms arise.
Singings soft; almost whisper the mariner’s lullaby.
An albatross is spied; the silent sailor soon to die.
Waves crash; the ship of hearts begins to sink.
Gentle is the awakening on this a murky sea.
Come hither the siren sings, come…come close your eyes and be with me.
A cool black silence lurks.
Years of yesterdays steal this moment in time.
Tomorrow weeps, oh but one step in life divine.
Walking now is the mariner through clouds away from hurt.
His yearning soft fulfilled by the sirens song.
His life for others dealt by hands of Glory his worth.
