Thus What Does It Matter?
Words sometimes are just what they are…words.
Though often fitly spoken, they fall on deaf ears and die.
Thus what should it matter if they speak no more, or never heard?
To each is his own agenda, to self it seems that naught of anything is of worth.
So why speak to the wall when in only silence is thy return?
Thus what does it matter if the words of the heart on the walls of life splatter?
Best now it seems, to keep my words within the gray wall of silence.
For my words; they are but listless syllables cast upon uncaring time.
Seldom read…dying, almost dead; my words, a silent eclipse of the mind.
