On Moons Humble Glow
On moons humble glow across ancient estuaries of time.
The brine of a foreboding sea mingles-
on the freshness of yesterdays dreams.
Eddies of gentle swirl carry lame-
the silver swans of this heart of mine.
The calling wisdom laps on the reeds of the brackish shore-
and the moons humble glow ripples essence in shadows fine.
A myriad of once silent voices from murky depths arise.
Sweet voices which once slept, dredging; impaling the mind.
Twain now of the many in unison familiar they sing-
Memories half forgotten, two hearts ever now to keep.
Sometimes from here mere mortal eyes fail to see.
Earthbound are these spirits who feel not this callings unspoken need.
The ebb and flow is a continuum on the winds of eternal time.
The heart ever longing; the songs on morning’s glory-
The sweet dance of memory forever framed in heart and mind.
