The Irony Of Fate

Irony tis such a queer thing-

-Strange-

-Peculiar-

contradictory in course, playing its insipid game

called fate.

Ponderous to point thus seems moot-

No intrinsic value thus to be found.

fate, oh fate…cries the man

Why oh why doest thou darken my door-

he laments…

Yet irony smiles-

for it were he who handed fate the key.
