Poem Artwork
Me laptop died & I laughed till I cried

With the laptop now dead
No more poems shall be said.
For it is too hard of this phone to type.
Therefore of my journey to the sea I will no longer write...

Though I wish so much that I could.
For day three had me laughing so hard I thought on myself I might pee.

I had booked Jan and I on a five hour dinner cruise.
It was fairly cheap therefore nothing to lose.

What got me was when in the harbor I saw hundreds of smiles.
But all that would change in a short while.

Up ahead into the open sea we had five foot swells.
The ship was three decks and 75'
That's when many including Jan did not fair so well.

Side to side and up and down the ship did go.
Not long into the meal did several heave and throw.
Of this I did not laugh,
But of Jan as I navagated her from the observation deck... Past three all the way down to one where I stowed her in the aft.

I knew this would for the best place to be.
Since many times over I have rode out storms at sea.
Yet all and all it was still fun... Well at least it was for me.

I've seen this a time or two, myself,
The Rolling Seas can truly be Hell!

POOR JAN BUT, AT LEAST YOU GOT HER IN A SAFE PLACE AND YOU, THE OLD SAILOR OF LIFE, THAT YOU ARE, WAS ABLE TO SEE THE HUMOR IN WHAT SOME, OBVIOUSLY THOUGHT WAS A TERRIBLE SITUATION. ITS YOUR EXPERIENCES IN LIFE THAT ENABLES YOU TO GO THROUGH, WITH JOY, WHAT SOME OTHERS COULD NOT. KEEP THE FAITH AND I'M GLAD ALL IS WELL NOW...THAT IS I'M HOPING...ALL IS WELL NOW?(SMILE)THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
