I Will Always Love You

Though decades separated us from love.

Though I never in my wildest dreams could imagined this heaven sent angel from above.

I knew you not…nor did you know I…

Pray tell, that only God knew that you would come into my life.

I never dreamed of you, nor did you dream of me.

Yet by grace, His grace, you and I came to be.

I ask myself; I ponder along this mysterious line.

Though I never knew you; though I’d never seen your face.

God in His wisdom always knew that some day you would be mine…

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!!

You were married to another as was I.

We swore before God, that we would stay until one or another died.

Though separation by death of a spouse is a hard lesson to take.

I like you vowed before God that she or I would never forsake.

Yet life goes on and death so soon becomes us all,

Love, Godly love is not forgotten.

For even through the blink of an eye; time passes us all.

The heart of my heart lies still in a cold dark grave.

Awaiting only the call of Jesus and a better day.

Funny it seems, of this strange little man that I call me.

That decades later I will give my heart and soul to someone I’ve never seen.

For you are my love Jan. you are the light of this my temporal life.

I pray now as the moon sleeps with all my heart and soul,

That some day soon…you will before God and man become my wife.

Though I never knew you, nor did you know me.

It’s utterly amazing how God works in his plans.

Plans lain before the foundation of earth to which shall set this captive heart free.

For I know with certainty that I’ll always love you and you will always love me.

For I sought not your face, nor did you mine.

Yet God in His wisdom joined us Holy and Divine.

Therefore, neither in darkness or light, our love shall be.

We will always be together in both heart and soul.

It shall cling until these vessels of clay pass away and we are both set free.

Then and only then shall we in His true glory the mystery see..

But remember this,

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.
