The Newtown Massacre
Innocent eyes cry in fear; sounds of darkness on footfalls do they hear.
They cower in corners and cry out to their mothers wanting them there.
Young hearts race amidst blood drenched walls and soulful screams.
Darkness has been loosed; killing, destroying a lifetime of hope and dreams.
I wonder and I ponder at what the future may have held for those who perished in a nightmare’s dream.
Who in life, if allowed to live, should they in life become?
Oh what a waste; oh what a horror that we have loosed in saying God is done.
Tears flow freely from this face of mine as I think that God has twenty more angels now divine.
Believe or not believe, that is in your heart entirely up to you.
Yet the end cometh near; for it is written that brother will kill brother.
Thus, if you must weep now for those whose lives that shall never tomorrow see.
Pray now not for the dead as these babes rest now in the arms of Jesus.
Pray now for those who remain and in a numbness of silence quietly grieve.

Your work is vivid and to the point, Bubba. Too true.. GOD did not do the evil. Satan had full reign over the faculties of the shooter.
Each time it happens, you can see the vacancy in the eyes of the killer.
It is fallen man and the children of fallen man... those who are unregenerated in their hearts, that can do such evil.
Because GOD has largely been banished from our culture, we are witnessing an explosion of these horrific events everywhere now.
While it is very easy to blame everything on GOD because He is omnipotent and omniscient, we must as you say, remember that he created us with a free-will, and He does not ever interfere with that! Most tragedies and calamities are due to human error, consequences of poor decisions, and sin.
The good that came from it, is that these precious children are all safe from what is yet to come - and quite alive - joyful in Christ's very presence! St. Paul said that to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. Our spirit is eternal.
For those who believe, they know they will see them again.. and that, comes from the Hope of Glory within us - Jesus the Christ!

However I felt that I should be equally respond in promptness. It is written, just read the bible and you will see that God gave man free will to choose to either serve God, or serve Satan.
God did not want robots, but a people willing to serve Him…it is our choice in life which way we shall go….that is what ‘free will means’.
This young man who committed these horrific offenses decided to do evil instead of good. If you will read even deeper in the bible you will also see that God allowed Satan dominion over the earth until the second coming of Christ and then Satan is bound forever and there will be peace under God. This is what is written sir…I know that there are many things that we cannot understand but someday we will.
